After Christmas I’m not normally one for boxing day sales and bargains but when I was stocking up on a few essentials in Boots the other day I came across the Ciate London Big Beauty Bus (down from £15 to £7, although it actually retails for £25 on the Ciate London official website) and couldn’t help but treat myself. The gift set includes six pretty miniature paint pots from the iconic beauty brand in pop pom, ferris wheel, hopscotch, snow virgin, locket & pool party – each 5ml of highly pigmented perfection.
I think pom pom and hopscotch are very similar, both remind me of fruity summer cocktails by the pool. Both give a beautiful pop of colour with hopscotch being orangey and tropical, and pom pom a slightly more juicier vibrant red. The brush allows for easy application and only two coats are needed to achieve a glossy, bold and high impact look. Ferris wheel is an adorable pastel blue, pool party a deep and sexy navy blue, snow virgin an angelic pure white, that can be worn on its own or just on the tips and locket a glittery silver number to add a hint of sparkle to your night out.
The Ciate London Beauty Bus still retails for £25 on their official website.
