Beauty | January’s Beauty Wishlist

I feel a wee a bit cheeky writing a wishlist straight after Christmas but let’s face it, isn’t treating ourselves to some beautiful beauty goodies the only way to fight away the January blues? Or you might even have some Christmas money from Grandma left burning a hole in your pocket? Or it might even be your birthday coming up *cough* on the 31st *cough*. Whatever your reason here’s a list of some gorgeous finds available online this month…

So how could I write a wishlist and not mention these beauts? To be honest I’m a little tired of hearing about them. You can’t escape beauty blogs or twitter right now without somebody mentioning the Bold Metals collection by Real Techniques. As lovely and as wonderful as I am constantly told they are, I’m sorry, I can’t help thinking paying £25 per brush is just totally obscene! To be honest I’m really just jealous that I can’t afford them… now if someone were to buy them for me I guess I wouldn’t complain, because I am beyond curious at how they can justify the price but for now I’ll be sticking to their original collection. I’ve just bought their shading brush and I can’t wait to see if it lives up to the hype – stay tuned! The Original and Bold Metal collection is available at boots.com.

After receiving the Greatest Performers gift set for Christmas (review coming soon) I’ve fallen in love with bareMinerals, especially with their Last Domination mascara and Marvelous Moxie lipgloss. So imagine my delight when I came across this little bundle! Available at QVC in their Easy Pay Installments plan comes the bareMinerals 7 Piece Gorgeous and Glowing collection featuring their Original SPF Foundation (full size), Ready Colour Boost (9.5g),  BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow (3ml), Lasting Line Wear Eyeliner (0.35g), Last Domination 10 in 1 Volumising Mascara (full size), Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss (Full Size) and a Multi Tasking Face Brush.

Available at LookFantastic.com the Geltox Starter Nail Kit by Ciate London promises salon perfect nails in the comfort of your own home. The set comes with a bottle of Geltox Top Coat, a LED UV lamp, a hoof stick, Geltox Cleanser and a 4-way buffer. The UV lamp and top coat work together to dry nails in just 60 seconds whilst nurturing nails, boosting their shine and colour, for a long-lasting professional result.

There are so many Soap and Glory products that have caught my eye recently at Boots. I am a loyal user of their legendary Righteous Butter and Hand Food, however I’ve still to try their new range of makeup products including their Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick, Hocus Focus Instant Visual Flaw-Softening Illuminator and Supercat Eyeliner Pen. One product that stood out for me was this Love at First Blush Multi-Shade Blushing Powder (7.5g/£11). This gorgeously rosy blusher claims to give a beautiful luminous glow and contain ‘encapsulated metallic shimmer pearls’ with an emollient base that give a chic and sophisticated sweep of colour.

Being a little more realistic in terms of my budget this month, I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about Makeup Revolution’s range of Radiant Light illuminating baked powders. Available in three stunning shades; Exhale, Breathe and Glow, this handbag-friendly compact, complete with mirror, promises to bring an instant illumination to your skin plus highlighting perfection. Available for just £5 from their online store. To

And finally the limited edition On the Run Naked Palette available at FeelUnique.com. The case itself is sleek with a stunning rose-gold finish. This travel sized all-in-one kit includes six brand new eyeshadow shades (featuring both mattes and metallics), bronzer (medium), blush (vibrant pink with a light shimmer), a full-sized lipgloss (in Sesso – rose with a pink shimmer), eye pencil (in Stag – a deep brown) and Perversion Mascara in Blackest Black.

Do any of these lovely products feature on your wishlist this month?
