Sleek MakeUP Highlighting Palette in Solstice | Review & Swatches

I don’t why it has taken me so long to pick-up one of these stunning highlighters, but I have now finally got my hands on Sleek’s Solstice palette and well, let’s just say, it was love at first swatch.

Sleek MakeUP Highlighter Palette in Solstice Review

Sleek is a brand that often gets overlooked but produces some of my all time favourite beauty products such as my beloved Rose Gold Blusher, i-Divine eyeshadow palettes and Matte Me Liquid Lipsticks. Basically, everything about this product is beautiful, even though the gold mirrored packaging is a fingerprint magnet, there’s no denying Sleek have nailed it with the design of this palette. Inside contains two baked powders, one luxurious cream formula, one silky shimmer powder, a small brush and a full sized mirror.

The colour payoff in this palette is extreme so it will last me a very long time. Only the tiniest amount of product is needed as the pigment is so rich and luminous, so go in softly with your chosen applicator (mines is a Morphe 510 Pro Round Blender Brush ala Jeffree Star) and gently build up you desired coverage. The colour combination is very versatile, Ecliptic can be used to lift the brows, Hemisphere adds shimmer to cheekbones, Subsolar works perfectly to highlight the bridge of your nose and Equinox enhances the lips with a gentle cupid’s bow highlight.

Ecliptic is a very creamy pink/nude shimmer, Hemisphere is a pretty frosty lavender shade and nothing like anything I’ve ever tried before, Subsolar is an intense yellow gold with pink shimmer and Equinox (an apparent dupe fo BECCA’s Champagne Pop) is a warmer golden peach shade.

Whether you’re going for a dramatic metallized look or soft Summery glow, this palette has got you covered. This palette is designed to use on both the face and body so it’s possibilities are endless…

The Sleek MakeUP Highlighter Palette in Solstice retails for just £9.99 and is available here.
