Who else is excited about the release of the new live-action adaptation of Beauty & the Beast? I’m definitely excited, but very apprehensive. I adore Emma Watson, but can she embody one of my favourite childhood Disney princesses? I was very disappointed with the Cinderella remake, however, Pete’s Dragon was wonderful and, in my opinion, one of 2016’s most underrated films so fingers crossed this is another success. To celebrate its release, Latest in Beauty have curated two stunning limited edition boxes inspired by the fairytale. The Beauty Box is designed for the ladies in mind and The Beast Box (sorry lads) is full of male grooming products.
Can we just take a second to marvel at how beautiful this box is? They’ve really surpassed my expectations with the packaging, down to the fine detail of the pages to the scattered rose petals inside. The box contains seven items including a full sized Burt’s Bees Lipstick in Blush Basin (3.4g), Gatineau Radiance Enhancing Gommage (75ml), L’Occitane Roses et Reines Hand & Nail Cream (10ml), Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo (43ml), Soigne Betteraves Rouges Nail Polish (10ml), Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet (10ml) and a gold compact mirror, plus exclusive brand offers.
I am really happy with the selection of products as Gatineau and Oribe are two high-end brands I’ve yet to try and I was just about to run out of my Vinosource Sorbet. Plus, you can’t go wrong with a classic red nail polish and due to the current hype around the new Burt’s Bee lipstick launch, I was intending to buy a few shades in the collection anyway. I’ll definitely put the exclusive 30% discount code inside to good use too. This box is worth over £80 and is further proof, that when it comes to beauty boxes, Latest in Beauty nail it every time.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is in cinemas in the UK and Ireland on the 17th of March.
