As my maternity leave comes to an end I’m not ashamed to admit, there’s been a lot of tears and sleepless nights. My poor eyes have really been through it recently. I’ve been rubbing them like crazy and they have been incredibly swollen and puffy as a result. The old metal spoon in the fridge trick is a great quick fix but I wanted an eye product that would smooth the look of my dehydration lines and make my eye area appear brighter.
The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Awakening Eye Balm contains hyaluronic acid, thermal spa water and caffeine. The lightweight balm is cooling and gives me that instant pick-me-up my eyes crave first thing in the morning. It absorbs easily without leaving any residue and helps calm, gently tighten and hydrate the eye area giving a more fresh and awake appearance.
The balm contains an advanced ‘dynamic hydration technology’ to help distribute and lock water in. It’s formulated for sensitive skin but is suitable for all types. It’s oil-free, fragrance-free and paraben-free and is my secret weapon against those telltale signs of late nights and weepy moments.
The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Awakening Eye Balm retails for £15 and is available here.
