Soap & Glory makeup is seriously underrated. I feel like everyone raves about their range of lotions and potions (you will always find a tub of the Righteous Butter in my bathroom) and their makeup collection is a cute add-on. Let me tell you, their Supercat Eyeliner is one of the best on the highstreet and their One Heck of a Blot Primer was one of my favourite products of last year. As soon as I saw this all-in-one palette I knew I had to have it. It gives me serious Charlotte Tilbury vibes but with the fun and playful twist Soap & Glory are known for.
Inside you’ll find a matte bronzer, peachy blush, cream highlighter and three eyeshadows; one matte and two shimmers. What first attracted me to this palette was the bronzer. It’s very cool-toned and subtle, which is perfect for pale skin. It blends easily giving a natural looking warmth to the skin and has a smooth texture that doesn’t cling to dry skin.
The blusher looks a touch severe in the pan, however, it blends out to give a pretty peachy pop of colour to the cheeks which is buildable depending on the intensity you’re going for. I’m personally not the biggest fan of cream products. Sometimes they can feel a little greasy on my skin and as I have oily skin I spend half my life trying to achieve that perfect matte finish, but I don’t hate this. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t feel sticky or wet. Same goes for the highlighter. It’s very icy which, once again, is perfect for someone with a pale skin tone like me. It’s also very long lasting and captures the light beautifully. The eyeshadows are nothing groundbreaking but they are perfect everyday neutrals that every collection needs. They are richly pigmented and feel very satiny and high quality. They blend easily and are long wearing.
This palette has everything you need for a lovely, natural look in a few minutes and on-the-go. I don’t really see this palette as a ‘day to night’ product as the shades are so neutral and pretty, but I love the selection of colours and finishes for an everyday look. I just feel you’d be reaching for other products to achieve the intensity of a nighttime look. This palette is definitely perfect for all my pale girls out there; I can literally get away with every shade which is a rarity. This isn’t a dupe for my Charlotte Tilbury Natural Beauty Palette but it’s a brilliant alternative if you’re on a budget.
