If you have coloured hair you’ll know how hard it is to keep your colour vibrant and glossy. I try to wash my hair as little as possible as it’s pretty heartbreaking every time I have to watch all my red hair dye circle the drain. The S-Factor True Lasting Colour Gift Pack from TIGI (worth £52.95) contains three products designed to work harmoniously together to protect coloured hair as well as add moisture and shine. The set, available from allbeauty.com, contains the S-Factor True Lasting Colour Shampoo (250ml), Conditioner (250ml) and Hair Oil (100ml) and retails for £24.85.
Both the shampoo and conditioner contain a blend of coconut & sweet almond oils, which are known for their nourishing benefits. Both have a delicate scent which I love and a little of each product goes a long way so this set is sure to last you a decent amount of time. The lightweight finishing oil also provides protection against heat damage whilst smoothing frizz and fly-aways. All products are infused with “ultra-sheer micro-shine oils” to give your hair a healthy-looking shine.
Unfortunately, after several weeks of use, I have yet to notice any difference in the vibrancy or staying power of my colour. I have however noticed a difference in my hair’s softness, as well as a reduction in static and frizz. The hair oil is my favourite product out of the trio as it doesn’t have a greasy texture or leave any residue but instantly smooths and controls my split ends and all the wispy bits I have due to the poor condition my hair was in after pregnancy. My hair appears to be less ‘frazzled’ and dry than it was previously and less prone breakage.
The True Lasting Colour Gift Pack is part of TIGI’s 2017 Christmas collection and is a great way to invest in some luxury hair care products whilst saving money. Other gift sets include products from TIGI’s Bed Head, S-Factor and Catwalk collections with savings of up to £19 all available at allbeauty.com.
