And my favourite overall makeup brand of 2017? Now, that’s a tricky one. Charlotte Tilbury is the brand I always turn to treat myself, there’s something about the beautiful rose gold packaging and luxurious feel of their lipsticks that never fails to make me happy when they arrive at my doorstep. The Body Shop has also seriously impressed me this year, their Shade Adjusting Drops, Honey Bronzer and Fresh Nude Foundation are, surprisingly, some of my favourite products of 2017. Essence is another drugstore brand that has outdone themselves in 2017. I’ve been lucky enough to be on their PR list this year and have been sent some truly impressive products which retail from only £1. Even though I have been sent the most beautiful packages to celebrate the brands 15th birthday this year, I can’t stop popping on to Wilko’s website to spend my own hard earned cash on even more of their collection. Take for example their new Fresh & Fit Awake Foundation and Primer that I reviewed just a few days ago. Pixi‘s recent collaborations with beauty influencers such as Aspynovard & Caroline Hirons had helped breathe new life into the brand and Stila‘s Magnificant Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow collection was THE launch of 2017. But, my favourite? Regular readers won’t be surprised that I’m choosing ColourPop. Every eyeshadow palette I’ve tried this year has been phenomenal, the My Little Pony collaboration was unbelievably pretty and their holiday collection this year has been jaw-droppingly beautiful.
