I’ve used the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder every day since it arrived back at the beginning of January and, as it can always be found at the bottom of my handbag, I completely forgot to take any photos or get around to reviewing it. Three months later I’ve just hit pan so thought I’d better hurry up and take some pics before it starts to crumble. As you can probably tell this powder is very well loved, down to the beautiful packaging (what else do you expect from Charlotte Tilbury?), silky texture and the flawless way it touches up my makeup throughout the day.
Airbrush Flawless Finish is available in three shades: 1 Fair, 2 Medium and 3 Deep and retails for £34/8g. The powder is very soft and finely milled. I have a tendency to really dig my powder brush into pressed powders but that’s really not necessary here, especially as this isn’t a translucent powder and does give a decent amount of coverage. This is a must for anyone who suffers from excessive shine throughout the day. The soft focus micro powders blur away imperfections and the rose wax and almond oil keep your skin from looking dry and crepey.
What I love most about Airbrush Flawless Finish is that it helps control shine without your skin becoming overly matte and one dimensional. The lightweight powder adds a soft filter-like effect to the skin which leaves your skin looking fresh and youthful.
I’ve come to rely on the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder a lot over the last few months, especially to correct shine across my forehead and nose throughout the day. It makes such a nice change from overly powdery and chalky pressed powders that seem to cake the face rather than subtly diffuse and correct. I can definitely see myself repurchasing this soon although I am on a mission to save up for a pot of Charlotte’s iconic Magic Cream too.
The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder retails for £34/8g and is available at charllottetilbury.com as well as House of Fraser, Feel Unique and Cult Beauty.
