I was recently sent some goodies perfect for Father’s Day and I couldn’t wait to share them with you. I find that Father’s Day is perhaps the most difficult occasion to shop for. The men in my family are impossible to please and give you absolutely no inclination on what they’d actually want. It’s usually an occasion designed for the three ‘S’s’ – sweeties, socks and smellies. If you’d like to surprise them this year with something actually useful, different and affordable then keep reading…
The first product is from WAKEcup. Every year 100 billion single-use coffee cups end up as landfill around the world. WAKEcup’s collection of stylish alternatives are made from sustainable goods like farmed bamboo, Tvyek paper and BPA free plastic. They provide the perfect alternative to the plastic polluting our planet and make an ideal gift for the coffee lover in your life this Father’s Day. For an extra special touch, you can get them personalised in Selfridges from the 15th-17th June.
The WAKEcup collection includes the WAKEcup 420ml (as shown above), WAKEcup Water Bottle, WAKEcup Tea Infuser and WAKEcup Mug with Lid, all available at their official website here. The WAKEcup 420ml (£15) is incredibly durable, lightweight and super stylish. 10% of all profits go directly to WAKEcup’s eco charity partners, the Marine Conservation Society and A Plastic Ocean.
My hubby only owns a handful of grooming products but swears by the Kiehl’s Nourishing Beard Grooming Oil (£22/30ml). It has a woody scent (a blend of Cedarwood, Sandalwood and Eucalyptus essential oils) and lightweight. It helps his facial hair feel less course and more manageable whilst encouraging hair growth.
Finally, the Gourmet Chocolate Pizza Company is an artisan chocolate company who specialises in creating handmade gourmet gifts and chocolate pizzas to order. Using only the finest quality Belgian chocolate, their pizzas are available in a variety of flavours and sizes to suit every occasion, including Father’s day. The Belgian milk chocolate base is decorated with milk chocolate curls, red, blue and purple rainbow drop buttons, and milk and white chocolate rice balls. It’s also finished with a milk chocolate plaque with the message ‘Happy Father’s Day’. It has a shelf life of approximately 9 months and all the ingredients are listed on the back.
Don’t forget Father’s Day on Sunday 17th June!
