Poppy and Penny seem to have more lotions, potions and bath products than I do at the moment! I’m very aware of the ingredients in anything I put on my girl’s sensitive skin because it’s so kissably soft and delicate already, plus Poppy has a touch of baby eczema that’s prone to flare-ups. Recently I’ve been using Cocobelle Baby* after bath time, which contains 100% premium organic coconut oil.
Cocobelle Baby provides natural nourishment for sensitive skin and helps to make my girl’s smell even more scrumptious and kissable after bathtime. Cocobelle was established in 2017 by husband and wife team Al & Ann-Mari after relentless searching to find a natural skincare product that would help cure their baby daughter’s eczema. They spent a significant amount of time and money testing out a multitude of products already on the market designed specifically for babies, however, they found that many had the tendency to make their daughters skin even worse. Finally, they discovered coconut oil. There are many types and grades available but eventually, they found a gentle and nourishing oil that not only made their baby’s skin feel beautifully soft but helped to soothe and calm it.
Cocobelle Baby is available in a 250g recyclable plastic jar and retails for £12.99. It comes solid in the jar (although this depends on what temperature it’s been subjected to) and melts as soon as your fingers come into contact with it. A little goes a long way and it glides onto the skin leaving a heavenly scented light-weight oil that dissolves effortlessly into the skin with minimal effort.
Coconut OIl is such a marvellous ingredient because it’s well known for its multitude of uses, the most popular being: a nourishing body butter, nappy rash balm, baby massage oil, lip balm, cuticle oil, hair mask and even makeup remover. Cocbelle Baby may be designed with babies in mind but it’s always handy to have a jar tucked away as it’s a product that takes care of the whole family.
Cocobelle Baby 100% Organic Coconut Oil for Babies is available at Amazon.co.uk and retails for £12.99/250g.
