I’ve reviewed a few products from Lottie London recently such as the ‘Living My Best Life’ Eye Shadow Palette (part of their collaboration with Instagram beauty guru Xthuyle) and the Gloss’d Supercharged Gloss Oil, both of which I absolutely loved. I regularly dip into their Shimmer Squad Highlighting Palette and I have a pile of their eye foils and brow products here beside me which I also adore.

Superdrug have stocked the brand for several years but never really did anything to help it become a household name; they’ve been far too busy promoting the hell out of Zoella and Tam Beauty. I think the same could be said for brands like GOSH and e.l.f. as their stands are always pushed to the back and very rarely stocked with their latest releases or shown very much attention. Understandably, however, a little disappointingly, Lottie London have jumped ship but their cosmetics are still available at their official website, Feel Unique and Look Fantastic. I hate to see such a brilliant brand get such little attention, so when I saw one of my favourite beauty influencers, Tati Westbrook use the Lottie Blush Crush in one of her recent videos I immediately added the shade Drake to my collection.

The packaging reminds me of the Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush (2.5g) that I used to wear years ago, except it’s more than twice the size (7g) and doesn’t contain an applicator. It smells like cherry chapstick in the pan but this isn’t noticeable when applied. This vegan-friendly collection of blushers currently contains 6 shades named after popular heartthrobs including Drake, Justin, Zayn, Nick, Harry and Zac.

The blushes are very buildable and don’t feel chalky or dry. They give my cheeks a lovely flush of colour that blends effortlessly and lasts well throughout the day. I tend to wear either dusky rose toned blushers or peachy ones and Drake is actually the perfect combination of the two. It has a slight speck of shimmer to it which I normally try to avoid but it doesn’t look glittery or metallic whatsoever, it just gives the cheeks a rosy/peach glow perfect for spring.

Blush Crush in Drake is another thumbs up from me and I will definitely be adding more shade to my collection very soon. I’d be in heaven if they ever decided to release a palette containing all six shades but for now, I’m very happy with this little pink pot.

The Lottie London Blush Crush in Drake retails for £4.95 and is available to purchase here.
