Mally is a brand I often see popping up on the QVC website whilst I search eagerly for Tarte, Pixi and IT Cosmetics promotions or Easy Pay instalment offers. I received the Evercolor Shadow Stick Extra in the Tili Abstract Beauty Box. The box contains 10 products worth over £89 in total, including this full-sized eyeshadow stick which retails for £19.50, for just £20 with free delivery.
When it comes to eyeshadow, I really wish I was one of these talented people who could whip up a perfectly blended cut-crease at a moments notice, however, I’ll usually just pop on a base shade, add maybe a matte brown or taupe and then cover my eyelids in something glittery such as my Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows, Barry M Crushed Jewel Cream Eyeshadows or, if I’m really short on time (which is almost always) I’ll apply a metallic eyeshadow stick, usually either the Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow Sticks or the e.l.f. No Budge Shadow Sticks which are both under £7 and are absolute bargains.
The Mally Evercolor Shadow Stick Extra might be on the expensive side but, wow, I’m in love with the formula and the shade Champagne. I wore it all over my lid during a wedding last week (that 11 am to 1 am the following morning) and it didn’t budge. It’s very creamy, easy to blend and doesn’t crease. It applies dazzling and stays that way… all night long. You can add just a touch for a sheer look, in the inner corner for a little pop of sparkle or layered for a layer of long-lasting opaque colour. It’s completely fuss-free and perfect for those of us who love makeup but are pretty inept at applying it. Simply pop it on and blend it out a little before it sets.
