My all-time favourite bronzer up to this point was undoubtedly the one in my Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow. The highlighter in this beautifully packaged duo is nice but nothing compared to the creaminess of the bronzer. ‘Light to Medium’ is my perfect shade match and I use it daily. However, I’ve recently hit pan on the bronzer size and I just can’t justify spending £49 when I’ve barely touched the other side. Thankfully, the make-up gods have answered my prayers and I’ve found a bronzer just as flawless, easy to blend and it’s three times cheaper.
Physicians Formula has finally arrived in the UK and I couldn’t be more excited to try everything the brand has to offer. I’ve bought a few of their products in the past when I visited Walgreen’s during my honeymoon to Florida but this was before the launch of their bestselling Murumuru Butter Bronzer – the product everyone is talking about. KathleenLights loves it, Tati too and Jeffree Star even put it to the test against a La Mer bronzer and it came out on top. The compact comes with a sponge applicator inside which is, rather surprisingly, not terrible as the bronzing powder melts onto the skin like a cream. It smells delicious. It has a faint coconut smell which doesn’t translate onto the skin.
The Murumuru Butter Bronzer is vegan-friendly, retails for £12.99/11g and is available in four shades. Unsurprisingly, I bought the lightest shade and I’m pleased to say it’s perfect. It buffs in easily and leaves a delicate glow that’s not flat or glittery. The bronzer is infused with Murumuru Butter making it extra soft and also ultra-refined pearl and soft-focus pigments that give the appearance of a smooth texture and adds a youthful-looking glow without being overly orange or shimmery. There’s nothing I can really criticize. It’s a wonderful product and the hype around it is completely justified in my eyes. I can’t wait to try their Butter Blushers and highlighters next if Feel Unique ever gets them in stock.0
