Revolution Pink Clay Detoxifying Mask

The Pink Clay Detoxifying Mask (£8) is the first product I’ve tried from Revolution’s cruelty-free skincare collection. Revolution is a beauty brand that doesn’t hold back when it comes to launching new products. The ‘new in’ page is crammed full of influencer collaborations, a staggering eight collections and, as far as I can tell, 18 eyeshadow palettes. It’s a little… overwhelming.

The skincare collection currently contains 78 products including ten essence sprays, thirty serums and oils (although I’m very curious about their CBD Super Serum) and fifteen masks. The Pink Clay Detoxifying Mask is formulated with Seaweed extract and Witch Hazel and is perfect for combination/oily skin types. It’s also part of their vegan-friendly collection. The mask has a light floral scent which is pleasant enough but I personally don’t really understand the point of unnecessary fragrances added to my skincare, however, it’s not a dealbreaker. The mask is thick, creamy and completely sets without feeling overly tight.

Only a light layer is needed to get a decent amount of coverage and it’s very satisfying to watch it really going to town on congested pores. I love clay masks as they’re fantastic for absorbing surface oil and the Revolution Clay Mask does this perfectly without completely stripping your skin of moisture. It’s incredibly soothing and surprisingly calming. It reminds me a lot of the Lush Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask. It restores balance to slightly shiny complexions and gives a healthy-looking glow to the skin once removed.

The Revolution Pink Clay Detoxifying Mask is available here & retails for £8/50ml.
